Public Life in Southampton

Between 2018 and 2022 I served as an elected Conservative Member of Southampton City Council for Peartree ward.

Myself, Cllr Houghton and Cllr Payne - the three Cllrs of Peartree at the time.

As a local representative, I worked hard for the people of Southampton to develop our local economy, boost jobs, strengthen families, build lasting infrastructure, and to make sure that everyone’s voice is heard in the places it matters most. My particular areas of activity are in IT & digital transformation, transport and economic growth.

I sat on the Children and Families Scrutiny Panel, the Overview and Scrutiny Management Committee, the Health Overview and Scrutiny Panel and the Planning and Rights of Way Panel. I was also appointed as a Council representative on the board of Trustees for Southampton Voluntary Services.

In 2023 I stood alongside Amanda Guest and Dave Smith to contest the Redbridge seat in Southampton Test.
